Workplace Injury Prevention
To reduce the number of injuries and the related costs, Wellington at Work tailors prevention activities and physical therapy services to each individual and work site.
OHS Policy/Procedures
Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act has legislated mandatory minimum requirements for all workplaces, such as monthly workplace inspections, quarterly Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings, and Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) orientation. Wellington at Work can help you set up these programs at your facility.
Health & Safety Committees
Must you have a Health and Safety Committee or Representative? Are they performing the duties and fulfilling the role required of them under the Act? Are your Committee records in good order? Be sure with the Safety Readiness Program.
Hazard Analysis & Recognition
Hazardous jobs require written procedures. Common areas that require analysis and recognition include fall-arrest rescue, lock out and tag, confined space areas, traffic control, and overhead power line protection. Wellington at Work can help you identify hazards and implement safety procedures.
Basics of Supervision
The key to reducing injuries is to increase the number of safe behaviors and decrease the number of at-risk behaviors occurring on the jobsite. Excellence in safety requires the workers themselves to be involved in the safety process.
Workwell Gap Closure Plan
Are you a target for a Workwell Audit? Failing an audit means additional WSIB levies over and above your base premium rate. We can help you be ready.
Wellington at Work is committed to helping you accomplish your injury prevention goals. We’re with you every step of the way.
